A mid-Michigan native, Tracie is a life-long devotee to animals, from her first job working in a veterinarian’s office, to pet-sitting, and now as a psychology instructor and counselor. With a specialty in animal loss, she has created presentations and led groups on the human-animal bond. Buried Deep in our Hearts is her first novel, and she hopes it will encourage others to give their own animals an extra hug. Tracie and her husband, Daniel, live in North Carolina and are owned by two cats, Rutherford B. Barrett and Oliver Monkey. www.AnimalsConnectUs.com
